Background: The aim is to study the correlation of serum uric acid and atrial fibrillation in hypertensive individuals effect duration hypertension on & (SUA). Materials Methods: Patients (age between 35-65years) were selected from outpatient OPD IPD. A control group 100 non another patients enrolled. Serum acid, Echocardiography: Trans Thoracic Echocardiography (TTE) measurement Left atrium diameter (LVST), interventricular septal thickness (LVPWT), posterior wall thickness, left ventricular end diastolic (LV) LV ejection fraction (LVEF) was recorded. Results: Hyperuricemia incidence controls 11% hyperuricemia cases 65 %. with phase 1 6.27±1.22 mg/dl those 2 7.59±1mg/dl which significant. Atrial 4% normotensive 1%. Conclusion: Hypertension had a significant SUA levels revealed that there noteworthy increase level than without fibrillation.
